Loft Ease is a growing, family-run loft improvement company specialising in loft boarding, loft ladders, insulation, loft hatches and associated works. We are looking for a hardworking and reliable self-employed loft installer to work with our friendly team. Previous experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn are just as important to us as previous loft installation experience.
The role
- Installing raised loft boarding systems
- Installing loft ladders and loft hatches
- Installing and topping up loft insulation
- Completing associated loft improvement works
- Protecting customers' homes and keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Completing installations to Loft Ease's quality and safety standards
- Taking clear before-and-after photographs
- Providing customers with a polite and professional service
Day rate and incentives
- Day rate of up to £150 per day

The company vehicle must be collected from our work yard/warehouse each morning and returned there at the end of each working day. This is a self-employed opportunity and not a PAYE position. Applicants will be responsible for managing their own tax and National Insurance obligations.
Who we are looking for

Experience in loft installation, carpentry, property maintenance, insulation or a similar trade is preferred, but it isn't essential. Training in our installation methods and quality standards can be provided to someone who demonstrates the right attitude and practical ability. Any offer of work will be subject to proof of a full UK driving licence, completion of the required DBS check and public liability insurance.
