Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Installation of PLC/electrical equipment associated with automated cargo systems
- On site panel wiring and removal/replacement of legacy Siemens S5 PLC\’s with S7 PLC\’s
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Install, terminate & test field wiring, I/O modules, sensors, and actuators
- Collaborate closely with control engineers and project teams to ensure system functionality and minimal downtime

Conduct site surveys, cable routing, and installation in operational airport environments
Essential requirements:
- Proven experience as a panel wirer or electrical technician in an industrial or automation environment
- Familiarity with Siemens PLC\’s, especially Simatic S5 and S7 platforms
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layouts
- Experience working in airports, logistics, or cargo handling environments is beneficial but not essential
- ECS/CSCS card or equivalent electrical competency card
- Awareness of safe electrical working practices in a high-security and safety-critical environment
- Communicate precisely in both written and verbal with staff and customers
- Work off own initiative with minimum supervision
- Computer literate in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Work as a team member within a medium sized global organisation
- Ability to work to deadlines under pressure
- Have a current full clean driving licence
