Position:Assistant Night Concierge

Location:Holland Park Gate, 261 Kensington High St, W8 6NB

Reporting to:Head Concierge/Resident Operations Manager

Core Hours:7pm 7am

Shift Rotation: Four days on and four days off

KeyResponsibilities

Service delivery/quality

  • Ensure complete resident satisfaction, by providing information and services that meet a 5-star experience and exceed residences expectations
  • Deliver projects and any other reasonable duties as required
  • Ensure all information provided to residences and colleagues is accurate and updated as appropriate
  • To give and receive handover information at the end of shifts, to ensure effective communication for the benefit of residences and colleagues
  • Ensure the safety of pass keys
  • Attend necessary meetings to ensure efficient and effective communication within the team
  • Check arrival and departure reports for all visitors to anticipate and satisfy needs
  • Handle all residence and visitor enquires
  • Assist in the provision of postal services for residences
  • Carry out ad hoc requests as directed by your manager
  • Comply with safe working practices as laid down under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Companies health and safety policies
  • Implement services as defined by the Resident Operations Manager/General Manager for the residences
  • Manage tasks and perform reasonable duties as required
  • Ensure accurate and updated information is provided to residents and colleagues
  • Give and receive handover information for effective communication at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Safeguard pass keys according to the key policy
  • Attend meetings for efficient team communication
  • Check arrival and departure reports to anticipate and satisfy visitor needs
  • Handle resident and visitor enquiries and requests, seeking help if needed
  • Continually maintain and update the concierge software
  • Carry out ad hoc requests directed by managers and senior managers

Health and Safety/Compliance

  • Attend all Health & Safety and fire trainings as directed by your Manager to comply with H&S legal requirements
  • Report accidents, near misses, and hazards promptly to your manager/supervisor
  • Be familiar with the fire policy and panel and know the actions to take in case of an activation
  • Comply with safe working practices as per the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and company policies
  • Report defects in the building, plant, or equipment according to procedures

  • Relevant experience within luxury residential or hotel settings
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail

  • Conscientious with a positive attitude
  • Ability to deliver high standards of customer service which is personalized, confident and calm
