Role Overview
As part of the Street Team, you will serve as the first point of contact for members of the public, local businesses, and stakeholders within Marble Arch and the surrounding area. You will represent the BID with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment while promoting the area’s offerings and supporting BID initiatives. This is a highly visible, public-facing role requiring stamina, adaptability, and a proactive attitude. You will be expected to lead by example and maintain a positive presence throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer and Public Engagement
- Provide exceptional customer service to members of the public in line with BID and company standards.
- Welcome and orientate visitors, promoting local attractions, events, and services.
- Act as a visible, approachable presence to enhance the visitor experience.
- Business Liaison
- Conduct regular visits to local businesses to promote BID initiatives and gather feedback.
- Address and escalate issues raised by businesses, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Distribute BID communications and promotional materials to businesses and the public.
- Safety and Environmental Monitoring
- Identify and report environmental concerns (e.g., graffiti, fly-tipping, damage to infrastructure).
- Monitor and report incidents of anti-social behaviour in accordance with site and company protocols.
- Collaborate with local police, council wardens, and other stakeholders to support community safety.
- Operational Support
- Assist with the delivery and promotion of BID-led events and campaigns.

- Operate radio communications and body-worn cameras in line with policy.
