About the role
Join our enthusiastic team throughout the school holiday periods (Easter, Summer & Winter) at Lodge Park Academy. Coaching our Multi‑Sport and Creative Activities course through the Holiday, Activities and Food programme, funded by the Department of Education. A Lead Coach would be responsible for leading the holiday camp and coaching our planned activities to children ages 5‑16 years old, with assistance from the onsite assistant coaches. Activities follow a planned daily structure provided in advance of the holiday programme start date.
Responsibilities
- Coaching planned activities to children aged 5‑16 years old, through Arts & Crafts and Physical Activity.
- Ensure arrival to site in a timely prompt manner (15 minutes in advance).
- Ensure registers are completed in a timely manner.
- Safeguarding of children (training will be provided).
- Ensure all children are supervised at all times (activities, breaks & lunch).
- Provide a review to our Regional Lead following each day.
- Maintain a professional approach, being punctual, organised and setting high expectations for children attending.
- Promote an ethos of inclusion and adaptability.
