We’re recruiting on behalf of a specialist subcontract manufacturing company in Sheffield who work on exciting projects within highly regulated sectors such as Nuclear, Defence and Aerospace. What you’ll be doing:

  • Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
  • MIG welding heavy engineering components to tight tolerances.
  • Working on projects across Nuclear, Defence, and other high-spec industries.
  • Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

What we’re looking for:

  • Apprentice trained Welder.
  • Proven welding experience within heavy engineering environment.
  • Strong MIG welding skills and ability to work to detailed technical drawings.
  • Structural steel experience or experience in Nuclear/Defence sectors is advantageous but not essential.
