Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a background in precision machining? Do you want to join a well-established and respected engineering business in Bradford, offering stability, progression, and a 4 day week? Lodestone Recruitment is proud to be working with our trusted client, who are looking to strengthen their Quality team with a skilled inspector.
The Role:
- Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined components
- Use a range of gauges including verniers, calipers, and micrometers
- Operate CMMs (they specifically have a QCT but if you have Mititoyo, Aberlink or FARO Arm that would be helpful)
- Be able to carry out gauge calibration to ISO 9001
- Complete inspection documentation accurately and efficiently
- Perform NDT including MPI and ultrasonic testing
About You:
- To succeed in this role, you will ideally be apprentice-trained or time-served in machining (CNC or manual)
- Have strong experience in dimensional inspection using hand-held gauges
- Have CMM operating experience
- Be confident working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment
What’s on Offer:
- Salary: £34-35k per year
- Occasional overtime available at 1.5x
- Regular days: Monday – Thursday 7:30am–5pm (4 day week)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Company pension scheme
