Salary: £50,000-£65,000 DOE

Are you a skilled Structural Draughtsman? Would you like to join a forward thinking Manufacturing company, who are frontrunners in their sector? If so, this role is for you!

Lodestone Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established structural steelwork business for an experienced structural steelwork to join their growing team, producing fabrication and erection drawings, 3D models, and material schedules for a range of structural steel projects.

The role:

  • Produce fabrication/erection drawings and 3D models using Tekla Structures or Advance Steel
  • Generate GA drawings, assembly drawings, bolt lists, BOMs, and cutting lists
  • Review engineering/architectural drawings and resolve technical queries with engineers, PMs, and fabricators
  • Ensure compliance with British Standards and Eurocodes
  • Update drawings for design changes, client feedback, and site needs

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Structural Steelwork Detailer or Structural Design Engineer/ Draughtsman
  • Strong Tekla Structures (or equivalent) skills
  • Confident reading structural/architectural drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisation
  • HNC/HND or degree in a related discipline preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Desirable: BIM workflow knowledge, CNC data experience (DSTV/NC files), CE/UKCA familiarity, AutoCAD
