Lodestone Recruitment are looking for an experienced Fettler or Finishing Operative for our client in Sheffield. Due to continued growth, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation that is really going places.
What We Are Looking For
- Ideally have experience of fettling and grinding fabricated and welded steel for structural steel projects, M.O.D, Nuclear or Oil and Gas sectors or similar.
- Experience of using hand tools such as grinders, burrs, abrasive belts.
- Must be able to weld or tack up parts.
- Checking dimensions of components and using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, calipers or depth gauges.
What Do You Get?
- A salary of £27,300-29k/annum (£14-15/hr).
- Permanent position from day one.
- Monday to Friday - 7:30am-3:30pm (37.5 hour week).
- Overtime available.
