We’re working with a growing, industry-leading engineering business in Rotherham to recruit an NPI / Quality Engineer who will play a key role in bringing new products from concept to production – while ensuring exceptional quality throughout the process.
Whether you already have NPI experience, or you\\\’re a Quality Engineer ready to grow into a broader role, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something impactful.
The Role
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across design, manufacturing, operations, and supply chain to:
- Lead NPI projects from concept to production
- Develop project plans and coordinate internal & supplier activities
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
- Conduct risk assessments, FMEAs, and validation processes
- Develop and document manufacturing processes
- Support audits, quality plans, and third-party inspections (e.g. Lloyds)
What We\’re Looking For
- Background in Quality Engineering (automotive or aerospace preferred)
- Strong understanding of quality standards, FMEA, and root cause analysis
- Confident working with engineering drawings and technical data
- Excellent communicator and team collaborator
- Willingness to train and grow into full NPI responsibilities
