Lodestone Recruitment is currently working with a well-established company based in Barnsley, who is seeking an experienced Plater Welder to join their team.
Role Overview:
This company is recruiting an experienced Plater Welder due to an increase in orders. This role involves plating, fabricating, and welding structural steel components to engineering drawings while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and plating of structural steel components
- Welding to required quality standards
- Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings
- Measuring, marking out, cutting, and assembling steel sections and plate
- Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience Required:
- Apprentice trained or time served experience as a Plater Welder
- Background in structural steel
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Pay & Shift Details:
- Day Shift: Salary: £34,800 per annum Hours: Monday – Thursday: 7:15am – 4:00pm, Friday: 7:45am – 2:00pm
- Night Shift: Salary: £42,500 per annum Hours: 46-hour week Pattern: 4 nights per week, 11.5-hour shifts
