The Role

As a design engineer, you will be responsible for producing detailed designs and manufacturing documentation for stainless steel and sheet metal products used within a specialist machinery environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing 3D designs using Inventor software.
  • Creating general arrangement drawings.
  • Producing detailed manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials.
  • Ensuring all designs meet required specifications and standards.
  • Liasing with suppliers and customers to support design development and approvals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience using Inventor 3D.
  • AutoCAD 2D experience preferred.
  • Ability to produce manufacturing drawings and layouts for sheet metal products.
  • Experience working with stainless steel products.
