Lodestone Recruitment are looking for an experienced Finishing Operative or Fettler for our client in the Sheffield area. Due to continued growth, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company.
What We Are Looking For
- Ideally have experience of fine finishing, fettling and grinding castings.
- Experience of using hand tools such as pencil grinders, burrs, abrasive belts or have previously done Mount Point work.
- Experience in working with castings and removing defects.
- Experience of working with small hand tools and pencil grinders.
- Checking dimensions of components and using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, calipers or depth gauges.
- Working to tight tolerances.
