Lodestone Recruitment are looking for an experienced Finishing Operative or Fettler for our client in the Sheffield area. Due to continued growth, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company.

What We Are Looking For

  • Ideally have experience of fine finishing, fettling and grinding castings.
  • Experience of using hand tools such as pencil grinders, burrs, abrasive belts or have previously done Mount Point work.
  • Experience in working with castings and removing defects.
  • Experience of working with small hand tools and pencil grinders.
  • Checking dimensions of components and using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, calipers or depth gauges.
  • Working to tight tolerances.
