Lodestone Recruitment is currently working with a well-established company based in Barnsley, who is seeking an experienced Engineering Administrator to join their team.

Role Overview: This company is looking for someone to provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the production and QA functions by managing documentation, maintaining systems (e.g. StruMis), and ensuring information is properly recorded, tracked, and communicated across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and manage QA documentation.
  • Refresh and compile production status information.
  • Provide administrative support across multiple sites.
  • File, scan, and organise documents.
  • Scan and link material certificates.
  • Issue material certificates to the QA team.
  • Generate work orders within StruMis.
  • Update StruMis with delivery receipts.
  • Collate and issue material traceability reports.
  • Prepare and issue welding documentation to the QA team.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong IT and communication skills.
  • Previous experience of administrative duties and/or document control.
  • Maths & English grades C or above at GCSE level (or equivalent).
  • Ability to use Microsoft packages.
  • Excellent communication & organisation skills.
  • Be able to prioritise work to meet department deadlines.
  • Strong numeracy and computer skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Structural steel background would be desirable.

Pay & Shift Details: Mon-Thurs 7:30 - 4pm. Fri 7:30 - 1pm. Salary: £13 an hour.
