About the role
We’re recruiting an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager who is passionate about exceptional food and world‑class customer service. You will oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a full‑time basis, ensuring kitchens and service counters run smoothly and delivering truly incredible food experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise between the team and manager to consistently exceed expectations
- Motivate the team and keep everyone on task
- Assist with inventory management, budget monitoring and action plan implementation
- Manage tills and process payments
- Support and train teams, leading from the front
- Assist with paperwork as required
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
