As one of our Virtual Finance Assistants (Bookkeepers), you'll be instrumental in keeping our clients' financial data accurate, working remotely to make a real impact on our clients' lives and businesses.

The Virtual Finance Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial data along with ensuring compliance for their "Pod(s)" portfolio of clients. This is a remote position requiring strong client care, attention to detail and communication skills.

  • Managing bookkeeping and regular checks to ensure the accuracy of the clients' data.
  • Processing payroll.
  • Preparing or assisting with the preparation of VAT returns, management accounts and annual accounts.
  • Handling credit control.
  • Other client specific day to day tasks to maintain accurate financial records for our clients.
  • Monitoring and notifying admin about changes to client contact details to ensure the cleanliness of our data.

Knowledge and awareness of core accountancy processes, tax and payroll legislation.

Proficiency in relevant software and technologies ie Google workspace and Xero.
