This role presents an opportunity to lead and develop the accounts team on an exceptional and diverse Estate. The successful candidate will be able to shape the future direction of the accounts team in conjunction with the Resident Agents.
The Estate is located on the Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset borders and covers 16,000 acres with farming in-hand, woodland operations, two significant partnerships and tenants. Its property portfolio comprises a large number of residential units, there are a number of commercial lets including small and light industrial, retail and office space and two public houses. There are a number of forthcoming projects and developments to work on. There is property in London comprising of commercial office and retail lets. In Folkestone a mixed portfolio including retail units, hotels, car parking and residential.
At the heart of the family's strategy lies the core objective of continuing its positive stewardship of the Estate, to be achieved by ensuring its ability to deliver economic, social and environmental value over the course of future generations.
Candidates should be an experienced all-round accountant, a good leader and be experienced at managing a team with a pragmatic approach. They are likely to be five years PQE (ACCA) plus and be able to identify optimal processes and provide a fresh perspective. Farming and property experience is advantageous but not essential.
