We are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic and professional Teaching Assistant, who understands the learning and pastoral needs of primary children. The role would entail supervising and supporting pupils whilst assisting the class teacher in Key Stage One with learning in the classroom and leading small group interventions.

We are looking to appoint someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, approachable and friendly
- Will ensure all children feel safe, happy and able to learn

- Will support the teacher in managing pupil behaviour and understands how to tackle challenging behaviour in children with respect and understanding, following the school’s Behaviour Policy
- Is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school
- Understands our children and our community and can build supportive and respectful relationships with children whilst maintaining confidentiality and following the school’s Code of Conduct
- Is prepared to undertake appropriate CPD to develop their skills including First Aid training and annual Safeguarding / Child Protection training
- Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to safeguarding children’s welfare – both at home and in school
