We are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, professional Breakfast Club Assistant to work with our children in the breakfast club. Working within a team to give the children the best start to and setting them up for success for the day of learning ahead.

Loddington CE Primary School is established at the heart of a picturesque village community, and we strive to provide a holistic and child-centred experience, allowing each and every child to flourish.

Directly influenced by the Christian ethos, our curriculum places our values at the centre of everything we do, recognising and developing the abilities, talents, and diversity of all. We are proud to celebrate the achievements of every child.

Our dedicated team, that you could soon become a part of, work zealously to create an inclusive, happy, and safe environment, equipping our children with the confidence and skills they need to progress through childhood and into adulthood.

We are looking to appoint someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, approachable and friendly

  • Understands how to tackle challenging behaviour in children with respect and understanding, following the school’s Behaviour Policy.
  • Is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
  • Understands our children and our community and is able to build supportive and respectful relationships with children whilst maintaining confidentiality and following the school’s Code of Conduct.
  • Is prepared to undertake appropriate CPD to develop their skills including First Aid training and annual Safeguarding / Child Protection training.
  • Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare - both at home and in school.

In return, we will offer:

  • A supportive environment where contributions and ideas are encouraged, valued and supported.
  • Happy and motivated children who are eager to learn.
  • A collaborative and supportive school community that is underpinned by the Christian ethos, driven by a shared passion of children’s welfare and education.
  • A rewarding working environment, within a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Access to a vast array of employee benefits and recognition systems, via our brand-new partnership with Vivup.
  • Employment within one of the largest Multi-Academy Trusts in the Peterborough Diocese, with wider development, training and career opportunities.

PDET, and all of our schools, are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. All appointments will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, and references will be sought prior to interview for all shortlisted candidates. We are an equal opportunities employer.
