We are looking for a Solicitor or Associate to join our Agricultural and Landed Estates team, acting for a broad range of landowning clients. The role will involve varied rural property work, including farm sales and purchases, financing, succession and partnership matters, environmental agreements, easements and leases.
Training and support can be provided on the job in areas where you may have less experience.
You will work as part of a collaborative team, principally based from our Cheltenham office, with occasional working from Stratford‑up‑Avon.
Our clients are predominantly based across the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, giving you the opportunity to work with a diverse range of rural businesses, estates and landowners.
You will also work closely with colleagues across our wider rural sector team, including Private Client, Planning, Strategic Land and Property Disputes.
This joined‑up approach enables us to provide a comprehensive service to our rural clients and gives you the opportunity to develop your knowledge across a broad range of agricultural and landed estates matters.
We are looking for someone who:
- A qualified Solicitor with at least 2‑5 years’ PQE
- Relevant property law experience
- A genuine interest in rural and agricultural matters
- Previous experience working within an Agricultural or Rural Property team would be advantageous, but is not essential
- A willingness to develop your knowledge and experience across agricultural and landed estates work
In return, we offer a competitive salary, an attractive range of benefits and plenty of opportunities for learning. Alongside, high quality work, genuine career progression opportunities, flexibility, a positive team culture and the chance to help shape the future of Lodders.
