Role Overview
Supernumerary Nurse Manager position available to lead a dedicated team of nurses and support workers assisting a bright young person with a physical disability and with complex medical needs. The team requires 24/7 support on a 2:1 basis, including tracheostomy care, catheter and stoma care, manual handling and medication management.
Responsibilities
The Supernumerary Nurse team leader will work directly with our client 1 × 12-hour shift each week, and outside of this, your focus will be on leadership, management, oversight and support. You’ll be expected to step in and provide hands‑on support if suitable cover cannot be arranged. This is a directly employed role, offering 37.5 contracted hours each week.
Qualifications
- NMC registration
- Experience in a clinical lead/management role
- Driver
- Confident working in a family home
