This job requires an MD for locum tenens coverage in Southern New York from August onwards. The shift type is day shift with 24-hour call, and the assignment includes both inpatient and clinic responsibilities.
The facility provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services, handling approximately 1,200 births annually. It operates without a trauma designation and has a Level III NICU for neonatal care.
The clinician will manage around 30 patients per day in the clinic and support approximately 1,200 deliveries per year during call coverage. An active New York medical license and DEA are required, and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is negotiable. The credentialing timeframe is estimated at 60 to 90 days.
