As the Children’s Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the re-registration and successful running of our home. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring that the home meets Ofsted standards, providing high-quality care to children and young people, and leading a committed team of care professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the re-registration process for the children’s home, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children and young people.
Implement and maintain high standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations.
Lead, mentor, and support a dedicated team of care staff, ensuring continuous professional development.
Work closely with the Deputy Manager and the experienced RI to ensure the home’s success.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.
Ensure the home is well-prepared for Ofsted inspections, aiming for high inspection outcomes.
About You:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and experience in managing Ofsted inspections.
Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to manage challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism.
A commitment to delivering high standards of care and safeguarding.
Desirable:
Experience in re-registering or opening new children’s homes.
Knowledge of therapeutic approaches in residential childcare
