Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to work for a GP practice in
St Ives . This role is ideal for an autonomous clinician seeking flexible sessional work within a well-organised primary care environment, with full support from an established multidisciplinary team.
You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes. The practice offers a structured workflow, clear expectations and a supportive clinical setup to make each session efficient and manageable.
Key Responsibilities
Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics
Completing long‑term condition reviews where required
Telephone triage and clinical decision‑making
Independent prescribing and medication reviews
Ordering and interpreting investigations
Clear, accurate clinical documentation
Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs
Requirements
Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate)
V300 Independent Prescribing
Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk‑in settings
Ability to work autonomously and safely
Familiarity with common primary care systems (EMIS / SystmOne / Vision)
Enhanced DBS
Working Pattern
Up to 4 days per week, flexible sessions
Morning and afternoon clinics available
