Locum Ready is seeking an experienced General Practitioner for flexible primary care clinic sessions across Newarthill. This regional role offers structured, well-supported GP clinical sessions, ideal for GPs looking to balance autonomy with consistent service environments.
You will manage routine and acute presentations, conduct telephone and face-to-face consultations, and support day-to-day clinical operations within established primary care clinics.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering independent GP-led clinics within primary care settings
Managing acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations
Conducting telephone triage and same-day access appointments
Prescribing safely within clinical guidelines
Handling clinical actions including results, referrals and medication reviews
Maintaining accurate digital clinical records
Requirements
GMC-registered GP
NHS Performers List inclusion
Experience in primary care or community settings
Strong diagnostic and decision‑making skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS
Working Pattern
Fully flexible sessional work
Weekday, evening or weekend availability
Suitable for ad‑hoc or regular weekly bookings
