Locum Ready is seeking an experienced General Practitioner for flexible primary care clinic sessions across Pembroke . This regional role offers structured, well-supported GP clinical sessions, ideal for GPs looking to balance autonomy with consistent service environments.
You will manage routine and acute presentations, conduct telephone and face-to-face consultations, and support day-to-day clinical operations within established primary care clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering independent GP-led clinics within primary care settings
- Managing acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations
- Conducting telephone triage and same-day access appointments
- Prescribing safely within clinical guidelines
- Handling clinical actions including results, referrals and medication reviews
- Maintaining accurate digital clinical records
Requirements
- GMC-registered GP
- NHS Performers List inclusion
- Experience in primary care or community settings
- Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS
Working Pattern
- Fully flexible sessional work
- Weekday, evening or weekend availability
- Suitable for ad-hoc or regular weekly bookings
