Locum Ready is looking for a Locum ANP to work for a GP practice in Thetford. This position is suited to an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner who enjoys working independently while contributing to a well-structured and supportive primary care team.
You will manage a varied caseload, handle same-day patient demand, and provide safe, effective clinical decision-making. The practice offers clear processes, strong administrative support and reliable session planning, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting same-day access clinics and triage
- Managing undifferentiated presentations
- Delivering chronic disease reviews where required
- Independent prescribing and follow-ups
- Reviewing results and handling clinical actions
- Recording consultations accurately and efficiently
Requirements
- ANP qualification with advanced clinical practice training
- V300 Independent Prescribing (essential)
- Recent experience in primary care or urgent care settings
- Confidence working autonomously in clinic
- Understanding of clinical systems such as EMIS, SystmOne or Vision
- Enhanced DBS clearance
