The Psychiatry department in one of our Mental Health Hospitals in Leeds require a General Adult Consultant on a long-term basis within the community.
- General Adult Psychiatry CMHT
- Mon – Fri / 9 to 5
- ASAP – 3 months with a view to extend
- Section 12 & AC status required
A Consultant Psychiatrist is required to cover a period till recruitment of a new postholder to the vacancy arising due to retirement of a substantive Consultant in the North East CMHT in Leeds. This role will be to work as part of the MDT assessing and reviewing patients, supervising SAS Dr, reviewing and prescribing for the current postholder’s caseload. Mental Health Act work is part of this role and need to be available and accessible to see patients urgently if needed. There are a small number of patients on the CTO also to manage.
