How to prepare for a job interview at Locum People
✨Know Your Stuff
Make sure you brush up on the latest ENT practices and guidelines. Familiarise yourself with common conditions and treatments, as well as any recent advancements in the field. This will not only show your expertise but also your commitment to ongoing learning.
✨Prepare Your Questions
Think about what you want to know about the role and the department. Asking insightful questions about the team dynamics, patient demographics, or the hospital's approach to CPD can demonstrate your genuine interest in the position and help you assess if it's the right fit for you.
✨Showcase Your Experience
Be ready to discuss specific cases or experiences that highlight your skills and problem-solving abilities. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your answers, making it easier for the interviewers to see how you handle challenges in a clinical setting.
✨Get Your References Ready
Since they require two referee contact details, make sure you have these lined up before the interview. Choose referees who can speak positively about your work ethic and clinical skills, and inform them that they might be contacted soon. This shows you're organised and professional.
