How to prepare for a job interview at Locum People
✨Know Your Stuff
Make sure you brush up on the latest anaesthetic techniques and protocols. Familiarise yourself with the specific practices of the hospital in Wales where you'll be working. This shows that you're not just a qualified consultant, but also genuinely interested in their operations.
✨Prepare Your Questions
Interviews are a two-way street! Prepare thoughtful questions about the department's structure, on-call expectations, and CPD opportunities. This demonstrates your enthusiasm for the role and helps you gauge if it's the right fit for you.
✨Showcase Your Experience
Be ready to discuss your previous experiences in anaesthetics, especially any challenging cases you've handled. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your answers, making it easier for the interviewers to follow your thought process.
