A world-renowned architectural practice is seeking an experienced Architect to join its Winchester studio.

The practice has an established international reputation for the design and delivery of traditional and progressive classical architecture, with an extensive portfolio spanning bespoke private residential projects, historic buildings, conservation, residential developments and masterplanning.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Architect looking to develop their career within a highly regarded practice working on distinctive, design-led projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will join a talented architectural team and contribute to projects from early design and planning through to technical delivery and completion.

The role will suit an Architect with 3+ years' professional experience, strong design ability and a sound understanding of technical delivery.

An interest in traditional and classical architecture would be particularly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of high-quality architectural projects.
  • Work across multiple RIBA stages, from concept and planning through to technical delivery.
  • Produce high-quality architectural drawings, models and presentation material.
  • Develop detailed design and technical information.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and project teams.
  • Assist with planning applications and statutory approvals.
  • Support the delivery of projects in accordance with programme and quality requirements.

About You

The ideal candidate will have

  • ARB qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience.
  • Strong experience within residential architecture.
  • Experience working across multiple RIBA stages.
  • Good knowledge of UK planning requirements and Building Regulations.
  • Strong design and technical detailing skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a design-led environment.
  • An interest in traditional or classical architecture.
  • Archi CAD experience is advantageous but not essential.
