About the Company

This well-established, design-led architecture practice is known for its impactful work in transport, infrastructure, and active travel. With a strong focus on integrating public infrastructure into the social and physical fabric of the communities it serves, the practice works across water infrastructure, rail, and large-scale urban design projects.

The team is medium-sized, collaborative, and based in a central London studio, with flexibility to work from home one day per week. They work closely with a broad range of external consultants, including engineers, planners, and environmental specialists, to deliver purposeful and sustainable infrastructure projects.

About the Role

This role is an excellent opportunity for a Part 2 Architect or qualified Architect with experience in infrastructure, transport design or public realm – or a strong interest in these. You'll join a passionate in-house team of architects and designers, working collaboratively across early RIBA stages. You'll be involved in the design development, coordination, and production of deliverables such as drawings, technical reports, and presentation materials.

You’ll play a key role in supporting large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, often in partnership with leading external consultants. This is a hands-on design role that offers exposure to both conceptual and delivery-focused work, along with meaningful opportunities for professional development and long-term growth.

About You

We’re looking for an adaptable, technically capable architect or Part 2 who brings both strong design skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset. You’ll be confident working in cross-disciplinary teams and contributing to complex, real-world design challenges.

You will have:

  • Minimum 4 years post-Part III experience
  • Minimum 1 year post-Part II experience with Microstation experience
  • A strong interest in infrastructure, public realm, and placemaking
  • Excellent communication and drawing skills
  • A collaborative, team-first approach to working with co-designers and consultants
  • Experience working to design standards and technical specifications
  • Proficiency in MicroStation (preferable) as well as Microsoft Office and Adobe or Affinity Suites
  • The right to work in the UK

Bonus points for:

  • Interest or experience in 2D MicroStation or 3D AECOSIM
  • Experience working on strategic-scale studies or early-stage infrastructure projects
  • Being self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented

If you're a talented and motivated Architect or Part 2 looking to apply your skills to large-scale, socially impactful projects, we’d love to hear from you.
