About The Company

Our client is an award-winning placemaking practice based in SW London. The portfolio spans high-density residential, education, mixed-use, public space and parks, with a strong focus on biodiversity net gain, sustainable design and creating habitat-rich places where people genuinely want to be. They use a blend of hand drawing, digital design and model making, and have a studio culture that combines creativity, technical rigour and deliverability.

About The Role

We're looking for a Junior Landscape Architect to join a talented team. You'll work across a varied project mix from masterplans to detailed public realm and residential schemes. You will be supporting senior designers through concept design, planning submissions, and technical delivery. This is a hands-on role with real exposure to live projects from an early stage. You'll have the chance to develop your design and technical skills across the full project lifecycle, contribute ideas in a studio that values strong design thinking, and work alongside experienced landscape architects who are genuinely invested in your development.

Day to day, you can expect to be involved in:

  • Concept design development, sketching and visualisation
  • Preparing planning drawings, layouts and technical details
  • Supporting on planting design and public realm proposals
  • Contributing to masterplanning and public consultation work
  • Site visits and liaison with clients and consultant teams

About You

  • 1–3 years' post-qualification experience in landscape architecture, ideally within a consultancy environment
  • A relevant degree (BA/MA in Landscape Architecture or equivalent)
  • A strong, demonstrable interest in design β€” your portfolio should show creative thinking, not just technical competence
  • Confident with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Revit is a plus
  • A collaborative, curious approach and willingness to learn from senior colleagues
  • Genuinely interested in sustainability, biodiversity and the social value of well-designed public space
  • Strong communication skills and an eye for detail in both design and delivery
