They are now looking to strengthen their landscape planning offer, with a clear ambition to grow and formalise their LVIA and TVIA capability into a leading service.

About the role

This is a key strategic hire for the business. You will lead and grow the landscape planning function, taking ownership of LVIA and TVIA workstreams while helping shape the direction of the service. The role combines technical delivery, team development and business growth, with a clear pathway into senior leadership. You will be working across a range of projects including regeneration, strategic land and major infrastructure, collaborating closely with design teams and external stakeholders.

About the role (day to day)

  • Lead delivery of LVIA, TVIA and wider landscape planning work
  • Oversee EIA chapters and technical reporting
  • Develop and refine internal methodologies, QA processes and standards
  • Work closely with design teams to integrate planning and landscape design
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Build and maintain client relationships across planning, architecture and development
  • Contribute to business development and future growth of the team

About you

  • Chartered Landscape Architect or working towards chartership
  • Strong experience delivering LVIA and TVIA in the UK
  • Solid understanding of GLVIA3 and planning policy
  • Confident leading projects and managing outputs
  • Strong written and visual communication skills
  • Comfortable in client facing situations and building relationships
  • Experience with GIS or similar tools
