An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well established multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation across planning, design, landscape and environmental services. The company works across the UK on a wide range of projects including residential developments, large scale masterplanning, urban squares, public realm and festival/event spaces. Their landscape and urban design team is continuing to grow and they are looking for ambitious designers who want to be part of a collaborative, supportive and design led environment. The team works closely alongside planners, urban designers and architects, creating a genuinely multidisciplinary culture with excellent exposure across all project stages. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a Landscape Architect or Senior Landscape Architect to join a growing design team working on a broad mix of exciting projects across the UK. The role will focus heavily on early concept design, masterplanning and planning stages, primarily across RIBA Stages 1–3, working from initial visioning through to planning submissions and reserved matters applications.
You would be involved in:
- Landscape led masterplanning and concept design
- Residential and mixed use developments
- Urban squares and public realm projects
- Festival and event space design
- Landscape strategies and planning support documents
- Reserved matters applications
- Design development through RIBA Stages 1–3
- Collaboration with planning, architecture and urban design teams
- Client meetings and wider project coordination
- Production of graphics, presentations and visual material
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety in workload and wants to work within a highly collaborative and creative team environment.
About you
Landscape Architect level
- Approximately 2–3 years professional UK experience
- Experience working on residential and/or masterplanning projects
- Strong graphic and presentation skills
- Confident using AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (revit is a bonus)
- Enthusiastic and keen to continue developing technically and creatively
Senior Landscape Architect level
- Approximately 5–6+ years professional UK experience
- Strong experience leading projects through planning stages
- Experience managing workload and coordinating projects
- Strong design, communication and client facing skills
- Ability to mentor junior team members
- Experience producing landscape strategies, reports and planning packages
