  • Salary: £45,000 FTE (pro‑rata for part‑time hours)
  • Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer, Loconomy

Responsibilities

  • Provide authoritative, independent advice to residents during the Druids Heath housing regeneration programme.
  • Design and deliver resident training and briefing sessions, including advice surgeries, workshops and briefings.
  • Support and enable resident‑led engagement in regeneration decisions, helping residents understand proposals and navigate change.
  • Act as a trusted intermediary between residents and institutional partners, maintaining independence from the Council, developers, and other stakeholders while collaborating constructively.
  • Work closely with two senior Loconomy associates for housing policy and community engagement to ensure frontline advice, policy assurance and engagement activities are joined‑up, accurate and credible.
  • Plan and balance time between scheduled advice surgeries, workshops, briefings, preparation, follow‑up advice and professional stakeholder engagement, without requiring a five‑day‑a‑week presence.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in housing, regeneration, planning or a related field.
  • CIH qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong track record of providing independent advice in complex or sensitive contexts.
  • Confidence in designing and delivering training or briefings to non‑specialist audiences.
  • Comfortable working with both residents and senior institutional stakeholders.
