Lockwood Parish is looking to appoint a Cleaner. Lockwood Parish Council is a rural Parish encompassing the villages and hamlets of Aysdalegate, Boosbeck, Charltons, Gerrick, Kilton, Kilton Thorpe, Lingdale, Margrove Park, Moorsholm, Slapewath and Stanghow. It is based in Lingdale Village Hall.
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Lingdale Village Hall and works under the direction of the Parish Clerk.

- Work under the direction of the Parish Clerk.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, energetic and self-motivated individuals who can work independently and flexibly with a strong community focus. The successful applicant will have experience in cleaning within a commercial environment and have used industrial cleaning and buffing machines.
Terms and ConditionsLockwood Parish Council is a local authority and offers favourable employee and pension terms and conditions. The working hours for the post are 2 hours per week and 4 hours per month for a deep clean time to be agreed with the Clerk. Salary SCP 2 £24,413 pro rata 12.65 per hour. All appropriate training is paid for by the Council.
