Working alongside and being mentored by our Group Fleet & Maintenance Manager & the wider Transport Team, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience across all aspects of fleet and transport operations, helping to keep our diverse fleet safe, compliant and operating efficiently.

Our operations include transport, warehousing, distribution, frozen food production and co-packing solutions. What You'll Do:

  • Assisting with vehicle maintenance planning and scheduling
  • Supporting fleet compliance, including MOTs, inspections and servicing
  • Learning about transport legislation, operator licence compliance and industry best practice
  • Assisting with defect reporting and repair management
  • Liaising with drivers, workshops, suppliers and third-party service providers
  • Maintaining accurate fleet records and documentation
  • Supporting vehicle licensing, taxation and compliance administration
  • Producing reports and analysing operational data
  • Assisting with projects to improve fleet efficiency and performance
  • Developing a strong understanding of transport operations and commercial vehicle maintenance

Training Outcome:

  • Level 3 Transport Operations Supervisor Apprenticeship
  • Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (Manager CPC)
  • Practical experience managing fleet compliance, maintenance and transport operations within a successful national logistics business
