We’re now looking for a hands-on Packing Supervisor to join our team at the Ambergate site, helping us deliver excellence every day.
The Role
- Shift: Monday to Friday Days
- Hours: 07:00-15:30 (40 hours per week). Hours may vary from time to time to suit business needs.
- Location: Ambergate, Derbyshire
The Packing Supervisor is a hands-on, shop floor based role responsible for leading daily co-packing operations. The Supervisor will work directly on the warehouse floor managing packing lines, labour allocation, quality control, and safety to ensure customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise co-packing teams across multiple production lines
- Allocate staff to meet daily volume and priority requirements
- Monitor output, productivity, and downtime in real time
- Step in to resolve operational issues and maintain workflow
- Support packing activities when required
- Maintaining exceptional product quality and ensuring processes are followed consistently
- Completing production and quality paperwork as required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience supervising warehouse or co-pack operations
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and leadership abilities
- Motivation and initiative to work independently when required
- A full UK driving licence and checkable references
- Forklift licence - advantageous
