The Lockwood Group is a dynamic, forward-thinking, family-run business established in 1965, currently employing over 350 colleagues across 7 UK sites. Our operations include UK transport, distribution and storage, frozen food production and innovative co-packing solutions. We are currently seeking professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team. We operate a modern fleet of premium brand vehicles, invest heavily in driver development, and are proud to be a DVSA Earned Recognition operator.
Pay
- £154.00 per shift x 5 = £40,040.00 per annum
- Graded driver performance bonus (Grade A-D) worth up to £2,400.00 per annum
The Role
- Monday – Friday night shift
- General haulage work
- Use of the latest technology (electronic POD devices, electronic walk-around checks) — training provided
- Maintain excellent levels of customer service
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with the Transport Team
- Deliver goods safely, on time and in a professional manner

You Need
- Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, valid CPC and Digi Card
- Good understanding of Tachograph and WTD rules
- Reliability, punctuality and a flexible approach
- Strong communication skills with a professional customer-focused attitude
- Previous Class 1 experience preferred.
