As an Associate Broker, you will assist with managing the placement and servicing of insurance business, building strong relationships with clients, insurers and global partners to deliver effective insurance solutions. You will support portfolio growth and retention through expert broking, negotiation, client advice and the delivery of high-quality service in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports placement and servicing activities for straightforward to moderately complex risks under supervision.
- Develops an understanding of client businesses, risk exposures and insurance requirements.
- Reviews client submissions and undertakes research to identify any changes in the client’s operations, risk profile including losses, financial position, or recent media and industry developments.
- Builds relationships with underwriters and supports market negotiations.
- Assists with placement strategy discussions and market submissions.
- Assists with client meetings, renewals and servicing activities.
- Supports documentation and placement administration.
- Develops knowledge of insurance products, markets and placement processes.
- Supports placement recommendations through market research and analysis.
- Maintains effective relationships with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders.

- Relevant Experience: Previous insurance experience with a solid foundation of principles and processes; preferred Casualty background with a focus on US, International or Retail.
