Job Description
The Team
We are Lockton’s Associate Development ‘Centre of Excellence’. We are comprised of learning, leadership and talent development specialists working alongside HR Business Partners and Leaders. We use a broad approach to developing learning solutions and development pathways, always taking into account our aim to be a diverse and inclusive workforce. The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail oriented Learning & Development Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, managing, coordinating and administering all aspects of talent development programs and initiatives in for our UK & European business.
Main Responsibilities
Program Planning: Managing the development program schedule for the forthcoming including our internal flagship programmes and any other development events/initiatives.
Program Logistics:Arranging internal/external venues, any required equipment and the delivery/production of the necessary materials required for each event. Handle logistics such as booking meetings rooms, catering and managing training supplies.
Program Communication: Sending out emails and invitations to attendees of development programmes or other events, creating/updating programme joining instructions, sending reminders, pre-work and post-event communications, including feedback surveys.
Feedback Surveys: Analysing feedback and collating evaluation data to present to the team, identifying areas for improvement.
Learning Management System: Acting as the main point of contact for our LMS provider, overseeing the administration of the LMS including creating events, monitoring course enrolment, managing waitlists, allocating learning, liaising with the LMS provider on any issues/improvements required.
Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate training records and generate reports on CPD, Mandatory Learning and Performance Management completion rates, and other relevant data. Present data to the Associate Development team and wider People Operations for analysis and decision making.
Onboarding Support: Contribute to the onboarding process by coordinating training for new employees ensuring they have access to essential learning resources.
Vendor and Venues Management: Coordinating with external training vendors and venues, ensuring contract agreements are in place and managed, and handling administrative aspects of vendor relationships.
Professional Study: Taking responsibility for the professional study queries, booking of study materials, exams and memberships, processing financial rewards, as well as the upkeep of the tracking spreadsheet.
Day to Day Support: Monitor the central training inbox and ensure queries and requests are responded to efficiently and accurately, escalating as appropriate.

Problem Solving:Identify challenges or roadblocks in program implementation and develop creative solutions. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
Communication: Effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organisation, including Partners, Leaders and Associates both in-person, via the telephone and via email as necessary. Prepare presentations, reports, and other communications related to development programmes. Serve as a point of contact for programme-related enquiries and provide timely and helpful responses.
Teamwork: Collaborate with the Associate Development team, HR Business Partners, HR Advisors and Administrators, Talent Acquisition, our internal subject matter experts, and external vendors and venues, to ensure seamless programme delivery.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, actively participating as a team player to achieve shared goals.
