As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be instrumental in shaping the professional growth of our Associates and enhancing organisational effectiveness. You will consult, design and deliver strategic initiatives that foster learning and talent development. You will lead organisational development projects that directly contribute to our commercial success and operational excellence.
Responsibilities include:
- Shape and implement enterprise-aligned L&OD initiatives—from Early Careers programmes to capability frameworks, that strengthen organisational capability and accelerate performance at both individual and business levels.
- Facilitate compelling front-of-room training experiences and workshops that translate strategy into practical skills and build the behaviours needed for long-term success.
- Equip associates with the skills – technical and behavioural - and industry relevant knowledge to deliver exceptional client service and drive client satisfaction.
- Develop and execute leadership development initiatives to build strong, agile leaders capable of driving commercial success and protecting our culture.
- Shape and implement enterprise-wide L&OD strategies that enable consistent capability development across global markets, designing programme models that scale with organisational growth and strengthen Lockton’s international footprint.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and innovation through effective knowledge sharing and teamwork.
- Implement metrics to assess and enhance the impact of L&OD initiatives, ensuring they deliver commercial value.
- Ensure our L&OD programs support our commitment to diversity, fostering an inclusive environment that enhances organisational capability.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in strategic L&OD roles, with a focus on driving commercial, client-focused, and global outcomes.
- Proficient in delivering and facilitating sessions.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to align development initiatives with organizational goals and measure their impact.
- Longevity working in a similar role, preferably within financial or professional services firms.
- Experience of working in a large, commercially focused organisation.
- Experience of working at all levels within a business to C-Suite.
- Strong consultancy and programme design, delivery and impact measurement capabilities.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills (written and verbal).
- Able to analyse data and generate actionable insights.
- Highly effective in achieving results both with people and through people, communicating clearly.
- Responsive when operating in a dynamic environment, adeptly adjusting to changing needs and priorities with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Forward-thinking mindset with curiosity about future skills and talent development.
