Overview
To oversee and manage the provision of claims advocacy and service for major clients and complex Cyber claims.
Key Tasks & Duties
- To oversee and manage the provision of claims advocacy and service to Cyber clients and Retail partners.
- To provide expert claims advocacy in relation to large, complex and/or contentious Cyber claims, maintaining and leveraging market relationships as necessary, in order to bring claims to prompt, satisfactory conclusions.
- To develop, shape and articulate the Cyber claims value proposition to colleagues, clients, Retail partners and insurers.
- For major clients and complex claims, lead the claims relationship, including regular meetings, delivery of claims reports etc. ensuring that client and producer expectations are properly understood and managed.
- For major clients and complex claims, lead the interactions with insurers.
- Manage the relationship between claims advocates, handlers and the Cyber placing team, and report to the business with management information based on statistical and other reports as well as current and anticipated future issues.
- Be actively involved in new business opportunities, identifying prospects, preparation of tender reports, participating in tender presentations etc.
- Support Cyber wordings development, ensuring that our products remain best in class and delivering technical excellence throughout the value chain.
- Contributing to thought leadership and risk advisory capabilities, ensuring that our brokers, producers, and clients are kept up to date with the risk landscape.
Skills & Knowledge
- Professional qualifications and/or evidence of significant continuing professional development throughout career.
- Strong knowledge of Cyber products and claims and demonstrable experience of resolving complex/high value Cyber claims.
- Experience of management and handling of complex and/or high value claims.
- Significant experience within the insurance industry and an in-depth understanding of insurance law and practice.
- Experience of engaging with C-suite of clients and prospects.
