The Aviation Advocate will oversee and manage the provision of claims advocacy and service in respect of Aviation clients and Retail partners.

Key Tasks & Duties

  • To develop, shape and articulate the Aviation claims value proposition to clients, Retail partners, colleagues and carriers.
  • Be actively involved in new business opportunities, including preparation of tenders and participating in new business pitches.
  • Be responsible for a portfolio of aviation accounts and assume responsibility for the delivery of claims servicing.
  • To manage, review and supervise claims and adherence with claims procedures and guidelines, including responsibility for Client claims strategies.
  • For major Clients, lead the claims relationship, including regular meetings, delivery of claims reports etc.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Professional qualifications (e.g. ACII, FCII, Solicitor) and/or evidence of significant continuing professional development throughout career.
  • Experience of management and handling of complex and/or high value Aviation claims.
  • Significant experience within the insurance industry and an in-depth understanding of insurance law and practice.
  • Experience of engaging with C-suite of clients and prospects.
