The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Provision of the day-to-day servicing of a client’s insurance programme to support the retention and development of the business (including timely documentation).
Effective and timely management of all renewals to ensure completion by the due date (including documentation).
Obtain quotations both for new and renewal business.
Check policy documentation for accuracy prior to issuing to the client.
Deal effectively (and to the satisfaction of the client and the underwriter) with queries, including but not limited to changes in cover and risk.
Prompt and accurate resolution of client queries.
Identify the risk exposures and advise on insurance and risk management solutions in consultation with the Senior Account Executive where appropriate.
Building and maintaining strong client and underwriter relationships.
Supporting in RFP processes.
Issuance of Lockton Business Principles.
Travel and client meetings as may be required.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record of effective stakeholder management.
- Ability to review and understand underwriting performance data.
- Understanding of the relevant classes of business and the maritime industry.
- Ability to broker and service the insurance needs of clients.
- Ability to prepare a broking presentation that accurately reflects the cover required and meets the client's demands and needs.
- Ability to identify opportunities for business development.
- Ability to prepare and interpret claims experiences and analysis, including claims triangulations and the impact of deductibles.
- An understanding of the general legal principles of insurance, including the role of the broker and adherence to relevant regulations.
- An understanding of regulatory controls and procedures relating to both commercial and retail customers, if applicable.
- An understanding of and adherence to Lockton standards and procedures.
About The Position
The purpose of this role is to support the service delivery of client accounts across Lockton P.L. Ferrari London, support the development of new business opportunities and maintain existing business.
