Lockton is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute the strategy, design, governance, and advanced analytics of survey programs that support client decision-making across People Solutions, including employee benefits, workforce strategy, and non-cash compensation. This role focuses on translating complex people strategies and plan design considerations into structured, scalable, and data-driven insights for large and multinational employers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, execution, and governance of global and regional surveys supporting People Solutions priorities, leveraging enterprise survey platforms such as Qualtrics.
- Establish and maintain methodological and technical standards to ensure data quality, consistency, confidentiality, scalability, and longitudinal comparability across clients and geographies.
- Design and oversee automated survey workflows in Qualtrics, including complex logic, validation rules, versioning, and multi-country deployment.
- Apply principles from social science, behavioral economics, and organizational psychology to design survey questions that elicit accurate, reliable, and decision-useful responses from senior HR, Total Rewards, Finance, and executive stakeholders.
- Develop survey frameworks that capture people strategy, benefits philosophy, workforce governance, and risk management practices while minimizing response bias and misinterpretation.
- Design survey content addressing detailed plan provisions and non-cash compensation, including retirement programs, health and welfare benefits, equity-based compensation, deferred compensation, and other non-cash rewards.
- Lead the development of scalable, automated analytics pipelines to process survey data, reduce manual intervention, and support repeatable benchmarking, trend analysis, and executive reporting.
- Partner with analytics and technology teams to integrate Qualtrics outputs with data visualization, benchmarking, and reporting tools (e.g., dashboards and standardized executive reporting).
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, translating automated survey outputs into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
- Present survey findings to executive audiences with clarity and credibility, supported by standardized and dynamic reporting.
- Interpret survey data to identify market trends, emerging risks, and opportunities across industries and regions.
- Partner with actuarial, legal, tax, rewards, and other People Solutions specialists to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory alignment.
- Contribute to the evolution of Lockton’s People Solutions survey and benchmarking capabilities through innovation, digital enablement, and analytics-led insights.
- Provide executive oversight, coaching, and quality assurance for consulting and analytics teams involved in survey design, automation, and analysis.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Sociology, Organizational Behavior, Anthropology, Political Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in people strategy, total rewards, employee benefits, or human capital consulting, preferably within a large professional services or advisory firm.
- Deep knowledge of People Solutions offerings, including employee benefits, total rewards, workforce strategy, and non-cash compensation plan design.
- Extensive experience designing and deploying surveys using Qualtrics, including advanced logic, governance controls, and global distribution.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze survey results in an automated, scalable manner, supporting benchmarking, trend analysis, and executive reporting.
- Proven experience applying social science or behavioral research principles to survey design, including question framing, response bias mitigation, and construct validity.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite and senior client stakeholders.
Preferred
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, or equivalent).
- Graduate or advanced study in organizational psychology, behavioral science, economics, sociology, public policy, human factors, or survey methodology, applied in a consulting or business context.
- Experience integrating Qualtrics with analytics, BI, or data platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL-based environments).
- Familiarity with governance, regulatory, and compliance considerations related to people programs and compensation.
- Experience leading or scaling repeatable, productized survey and benchmarking solutions.
