Your Responsibilities
- Manage the data quality log and ensure that reported issues are logged, monitored and resolved (through partnership with data stewards and relevant business SMEs).
- Partner with the data analysts (within the team), IT and/or data stewards to address data quality issues.
- Partake in system data quality updates to improve the overall quality of output data for reporting purposes.
- Liaise with IT and technical data analysts to produce data catalogues and dictionaries.
- Manage the data glossary and ensure that critical system definitions are incorporated as part of a monthly process.
- Partake in ad hoc data projects and assist with the production of critical data governance documentation (policies, procedures etc.).
Qualifications
- We are looking for an ambitious candidate with a passion for producing positive results and creating value-added outcomes.
- Ability to keep calm in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly; adaptability is a must.
- Prior experience working on process/operational improvement.
- Good understanding of data ownership frameworks.
- Previous experience working with data quality logs.
- Prior experience working within a data/data governance team.
- Prior experience developing and communicating status reports in Excel or PowerPoint.
- Very results-oriented.
- Proficient with using Word, Excel (Intermediate level) and PowerPoint.
