Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the data quality log and ensure that reported issues are logged, monitored and resolved (through partnership with data stewards and relevant business SMEs).
  • Partner with the data analysts (within the team), IT and/or data stewards to address data quality issues.
  • Partake in system data quality updates to improve the overall quality of output data for reporting purposes.
  • Liaise with IT and technical data analysts to produce data catalogues and dictionaries.
  • Manage the data glossary and ensure that critical system definitions are incorporated as part of a monthly process.
  • Partake in ad hoc data projects and assist with the production of critical data governance documentation (policies, procedures etc.).

Qualifications

  • We are looking for an ambitious candidate with a passion for producing positive results and creating value-added outcomes.
  • Ability to keep calm in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly; adaptability is a must.
  • Prior experience working on process/operational improvement.
  • Good understanding of data ownership frameworks.
  • Previous experience working with data quality logs.
  • Prior experience working within a data/data governance team.
  • Prior experience developing and communicating status reports in Excel or PowerPoint.
  • Very results-oriented.
  • Proficient with using Word, Excel (Intermediate level) and PowerPoint.
