Applications IT Analyst

Overview

Lockton Re is looking to hire an IT Operations Analyst to join our growing Business Technology team – supporting the business in a crucial point in our growth journey.

The purpose of this role is to support application maintenance and end user queries where key tasks & duties will include :

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and resolving end user queries across the business application portfolio, including liaising with appropriate infrastructure and development teams.
• Providing face-to-face desk side support and be visible to the business.
• Administration of user accounts across all applications, manage license allocation and monitor usage.
• Testing of upgrades and patches to ensure no break in application availability.
• Providing end user training and maintain documentation.
• Proactively improving efficiency and automation.
• Maintaining application catalogue and drive compliance with internal security and operational controls.
• Assisting with projects as needed.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience in application support, particularly if aligned to the insurance industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of IT Service Management.
• Knowledge of reinsurance, Salesforce, OpenTwins, document management preferred.
