We have an immediate vacancy for an exceptional Apprentice Hairdresser, who has a passion for wanting to become a Hairdresser in London SW10 0LN.

The Apprenticeship training programme will last 18-24 months and you will progress towards achieving The Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing) Level 2 Apprenticeship standard with the opportunity to advance to the Senior Hair Professional Standard (Hairdressing) Level 3 Apprenticeship.

There will be an initial 12 week traineeship.

We do not require you to have prior experience or GCSEs, or equivalents, - we need your passion to want to succeed in this vibrant creative industry.

You need to be well presented, have a fantastic attitude and be a reliable team player.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet clients.
  • Shampoo and condition client’s hair.
  • Maintain a clean salon.
  • Provide refreshments to the clients.
  • Reception duties.
  • Prepare clients for the stylists to cut, tint hair etc.
  • As you develop skills you may be given the opportunity to style hair, apply tint and colour.
  • Your training will require you to demonstrate a competence in shampooing and conditioning, cutting hair, tinting hair, styling hair, setting, and dressing hair plus reception duties.
  • Your skills and competence will be assessed on paying clients, either in our academy or in the workplace (salon).

Competitive wage - £17,056.00 whilst training.
